Columbus Weekend....and the weather is spectacular and so are the sales! Last weekend was cool and rainy, so there was really no yard sales or flea markets to speak of. So....you knew that this weekend would be great. And it was! Take a look...this sideboard needs different knobs, probably antique glass...to paint or not to paint???
Galvanized holder. I was told a carpenter custom made it to hold all his nuts and bolts, but I'm thinking mason jars with candles and mini topiary Christmas trees....what do you think it should hold?
Bird's Eye Maple cabinet...stunning!
These German plates....each one has a slightly different image, all containing birds and some little bug...so cute!
And the 'Favorite Find'.....pewter decanter labels! These would make a great present for anyone that enjoys their 'spirits'.
Ok, time to get to work! Cleaning and painting, fixing and shining....most items will be over at the Spaulding Cooperage in time for next weekends sale. It's the last one of the season...so be sure to stop by Friday Oct 14th 10-5, Saturday Oct 15th 10-5 and Sunday Oct 16th 11-4.
Next post...some 'after' pictures. I keep showing you the 'befores' from the flea...but, bet your curious as to how things come out.
Now get outside and enjoy this gorgeous weekend!
(Hope it's gorgeous where you are!)
