Wedding Shower Gift

My brother is getting married very soon to a wonderful woman that I am thrilled to have in our family. Her shower was recently, and you know me, I couldn't just go buy something off the registry...I had to personalize it, and hand craft it.
They love to entertain, so here's what I came up with...
It's an entertaining kit!
I started with a large antique bread board, that needed to be refinished.
Then I added an eye hook so that it could be hung.
The couple registerd for La Creuset Bakeware in blue, so I picked up some ramekins and a small loaf pan that can be used on the board to hold nuts, chutney etc.

I added a vintage blue canning jar, that's holding a candle nestled in kosher salt, but it could easily hold flowers too.
I continued with a new blue striped cotton dishtowel, that I stamped using vintage number stamps, with their wedding date. I wrapped it around a great bottle of organic red wine.
Then I put everything into a vintage wood utensil caddy that I painted white and distressed.
I added some nuts and chocolates, and a handmade card with a dried hydrangea and a metal edged key tag tea-stained and stamped with her new last name initial.

It was so much fun to put together and I hope they entertain and use it a lot!
Less than a month to the wedding!!! So happy for them both!
Enjoy!
