Thanksgiving centerpiece on a budget

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving surrounded by family and friends! I wanted to share my dinner table with you, I think it came out pretty and it was almost free!

This years theme was acorns...

These acorns are wood with real caps-bought them off a friend. And these were the take home gift, a 3 inch solid wood ornament bought at a local farm stand.
I added books that I had for height and color, turkey feathers that I have collected on my walks, lots of candles...
In blues, browns and greens...I mixed 3 patterns of china for each place setting to be unique.

Dried hydrangea from my bushes, purchased granny smith apples and two artichokes, then I added some branches from outside that still had some green leaves.

And did you figure out what the wood item was that is holding everything down the center of the table? It's a wood gutter-directly off our barn! We are replacing them, and I certainly was not going to throw them out!

Happy Thanksgiving!
