Split Personality at the Flea Today

A beautiful morning to hit the flea market...fog rolling around, sun just coming up, the smell the damp spring earth...ahhh.

You never know what you'll find at the flea market, so I always go with an open mind. But today, I had two distinct shopping personalities. The first one is the industrial, metal, rusty, wood, black, french looking pieces perfect for Barn Loft...








Then there was this personality...the fun, bright colored, vintage one...




Remember how I picked up the vintage wheel off of a child's toy circa 1912 2 weeks ago? Well look what I found this week...not the same toy, but it's cast iron and has it's original paint! It was meant to pull another piece of the toy, maybe a  fireman's pumper wagon? I'm not sure, but I think it's great!


I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend! The sun is finally out here, after a week of rain and drizzle, and I plan on enjoying every bit of it!

    Love all of your finds.And these are both hot looks right now.I think you can pull them off together.
    How cool to find those two pieces and they both work for that old toy.
