Day Trip!!

Went out on a day trip today with my friend Michelle (www.brooklinestreetstudio.com)! You know how it goes if your a mom....get the kids off to school, then quick! hit the road! How far can we go and be back before the bus drops them off in the afternoon??? We made it up to Ashland, NH. There we found Ashland Antiques and the Proprietress, Amanda Conaway.

We made some good scores there! Thanks Amanda! Also stopped at few other locations, here's my portion of the loot...

Gotta love the black metal tool box, except for the marker inside (?) I'm thinking that it needs to be filled with succulents or it would make a great holder of entertaining supplies like cutlery, napkins etc. Which one do you think would be better?

This adorable Floral Design Shop, Mountain Laurel (www.mountainlaurelflowers.com) caught our eye next door. So glad we stopped in and met the Owner, Linda Pare. Such talent! She's been in business for 14 years, her experience is surely reflected in her vignettes!

One last thing...Marketplace at Townsend Harbor is happening April 27th (10-5), 28th (10-5) and 29th (11-4) at 80 Main Street, Rte 119, Townsend, MA. This year we are doing something new...a preview night for previewing only on April 26th from 6-8:30 (light refreshments will be served). There will be multiple dealers selling Antiques, Collectibles, Vintage, Textiles, Home Decor and Flowers & Plants. The shop (The Spaulding Cooperage) next door will be open regular hours as well. Come see both locations and double the dealers!
