Pintrest Recycled Craft

Are you loving Pintrest?? There are so many talented people out there. I have to limit myself to the amount of time I spend on it, I could easily lose hours out of my day! I was inspired to try this quick and easy recycled project by The May Berry Home Journal.

All you need is a bunch of brown tube rolls-you know, from paper towels, toilet paper and wrapping paper. You squish (yes, a technical word!) the tube enough so that you can cut it into 1/4 inch strips...

use your glue gun to attach one petal to the next at the center, use 6 pieces...

I added punched circles from a french dictionary to the front and back center, then glued skewers to some..

and tied others onto twine...hung them on my mantel...

and on my base kitchen cabinet skirt.

I just love them. I'll have to get my friends and family to start saving tubes for me...I think they'd be a fun decorating accessory for a garden themed party.
