So spring is coming...this weekend...they say! 50-60 degrees??!! Say it isn't so!
I just had to go out and cut some pussy willow and quince branches from the back yard. Look closely at the buds in the next picture-they are ready to open soon!
I am soooo looking forward to nice weather and being outside in the sun without all the layers on. I will GLADLY exchange my snowboots for mudboots! Did I mention that I have spring fever????
So what have I done in the last few days?
Well for starters, I helped one of my bestest of friends, Michelle (Brookline Street Studio) set up her new space at
From Out of the Woods in Goffstown, NH. http://www.fromoutofthewoodsantiques.com/ If you have never been there, you HAVE got to make the trip. Not only do they have great merchandise to browse through on 2 levels of this barn, but in their basement (which I hate to call a 'basement' because it is so not the typical basement) they have 'Infusion NH'. It changes monthly and Donna, the shop owner, does a fabulous job with these one-of-a-kind antiques and reuse ideas!LOVE IT!
Here's Michelle starting to set up. Check out her blog for more pictures www.brooklinestreetstudio.blogspot.com
Michelle has a great eye for disply! I wish you the best at your new location chickie!!
I just had to take a picture of this and share the reason....aren't these drying dishes just simply beautiful?!
These are the dishes that I washed after we finished celebrating my husbands promotion to 1st Sgt in the MA National Guard.
I am so proud of him for acheiving this level!
Love you E!
On that note, I am off to pick up the kids from school. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend with lots of sunshine and fun! And for all you like minded crafters....have a productive weekend with the flea markets!
Enjoy!
Kris
